Kladruby nad Labem
The oldest stud farm in the world

The National Stud Kladruby nad Labem is one of the oldest stud farms in the world and is also home to the oldest original Czech horse breed – the Old Kladruby horse.

The National Stud Farm strives to develop the local cultural wealth, to establish valuable cooperation with institutions and individuals and to present the stud farm to visitors from all over the world.

Even today, the Old Cladrubian horse still fulfils its original role as a ceremonial horse, especially in the royal courts of Denmark and Sweden.

The basis of the visual style is the logotype in the form of a letter K, which has always appeared as the sign for Old Cladruban horses. The crown above the letter K is a reference to the stud's royal origins. We have taken the symbol from heraldic traditions, for example on the borders of imperial flags, and adapted it to a modern aesthetic.

The new visual identity was one of the elements that contributed to the inscription of the National Stud Kladruby nad Labem on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
